
It’s election day! There are some interesting races in our part of Florida, all at the local level.

A 23-year-old woman jumped to her death from a moving pickup truck on I-95. She reportedly told a friend on the phone she was going to jump before doing it.

Three local men were arrested on charges related to drug dealing as part of an undercover operation. Both local law enforcement and the DEA were involved.

Two Florida insurers are facing penalties from the state due to their handling of claims from hurricanes in previous years.

A proposed bill will make it mandatory for Florida students to be proficient in cursive writing by the end of 5th grade. While I can appreciate how some people would be excited about this, I’d love to see the kids taught some more useful life skills in schools. Cursive just doesn’t seem to be very popular these days for people of any age.
