Kratom (scientific name: Mitragyna speciosa) is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family, native to Southeast Asia, including countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea. There are some side effects to be aware of and it is illegal in several US states.

The septic to sewer program for low-income households announced additional funding. The Clean Water Coalition of Indian River County has been spearheading the efforts to get more of the low-income houses onto sewer service.
