Traffic was backed up for miles yesterday on the Florida turnpike in Indian River County. There was an accident that resulted in one fatality.

Main Street Vero Beach received recognition from Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd. He called it “one of the Treasure Coast’s true gems” and awarded it the Florida Main Street of the Month.
