If you are planning a Thanksgiving dinner at a local restaurant, there are still some reservations available. But you’d better move fast! Seating is limited. These local spots offer the full Thanksgiving dinner experience, whether you are dining in or doing takeout.

A local woman has regained her independence after having a stroke with a new device. The device is available at Cleveland Clinic and can be used regardless of the time that has passed since the stroke happened.

This Saturday, Vero Beach Rowing will be completing a challenge to support their local fundraising efforts. The challenge has them rowing the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) on an indoor rowing machine.

Iguanas usually stay south of us where it’s a bit warmer, BUT there have been some recent reported sightings of iguanas in the wild in Indian River County. Today might be a good day to see if iguanas have made their way into your neighborhood. If the outdoor temperature got cold enough, check your yard for iguanas who have fallen from trees (which is their favorite way to make it into the news), and learn what to do if you find some.

Police are looking for help with their investigation into some vandalism at Schumann Drive Park. The incident occurred last week and the restrooms at the park remain closed for the time being. Any tips can be sent to the local police.

This one is a little outside our jurisdiction, but close enough to be interesting. A teenager was arrested for bashing a police patrol car with a shovel with the officers standing and watching. “Are you kidding me?!” was an audible response from one of the officers.
